Service Projects

·        MOBILE MEALS - Weekly two club members deliver meals on Wednesdays.  At Thanksgiving and Christmas one of our members donates Turkeys and Poinsettias as holiday cheer for the recipients on our route.

·        ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY - Four times a year on a Saturday morning, members meet at 7:30 am to clean up our stretch of Fairforest Rd.  A breakfast social follows the trash pickup. www.palmettopride.org

·        ST. LUKE'S FREE MEDICAL CLINIC - 4 times a year on Thursday evenings, 5 club members assist in registering patients to be seen that evening by the doctors.

·        SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGERS - Each year on a Saturday at Christmas, 2 club members, some with their children, take a 1-hour shift ringing the bell at the Westgate Wal-Mart.

·        CHRISTMAS FAMILY – Each year our club adopts a needy family to make their Christmas a little more cheerful.  Club members use the money collected to purchase items on the wish list and present the gifts to a family member at our annual Christmas program.

·        CHRISTMAS IN ACTION – Each year club members work with other participants in beautifying a section of Spartanburg by making needed repairs to homes. Each year our Club Chairperson selects a house for members to work on.

·        ETA CHAPTER OF DELTA KAPPA GAMMA SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL – Each year club members assist society members in supplying local elementary school teachers with additional school supplies for a specific project, such as Joint Literacy. www.deltakappagamma.org/SC
